Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): anything slightly loud
My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): lots of patience for my personality to come out

Good with dogs?: Unknown
Good with children?: Yes, but only older/quiet
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Yes
Temperament: Independent
Ideal type of household?: Low activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few days, A few weeks
Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Meet Solar Flare, the tiny tabby-on-white girl with a personality as bold as her name! Though small in size, she makes up for it with her fiery spirit and big attitude from recently being on mom duties. Solar Flare can put up quite the wall at first, hissing when she feels unsure, but don’t be fooled! SF secretly adores affection and can be quickly won over with gentle head rubs.
One of her quirks? Even when she’s trying to act tough, she melts for belly rubs and quietly purrs. Playtime is another favorite, if it’s a toy she can chase, SF is all in! And when it comes to mealtime, she’s a picky princess who only has eyes (and taste buds) for fish-flavored wet food.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): SF still has progress to make with becoming more friendly and confident. She also is on/off with an upper respiratory infection.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
