Bartholomew is a charismatic little man who loves to chat with you while you get his snacks ready! He came to GRASP as a young kitten with a severely broken pelvis and his outlook seemed pretty grim. However, with a lot of care and love, he has unexpectedly made a full recovery and is a happy boy who does not need any medications or special care!
He LOVES to eat, and does best when he is fed several small meals as opposed to allowing him to have free access to food. He is on a primarily wet food diet and enjoys some kibble in food puzzles as well.
As much as he loves to eat, Bartholomew LOVES to play! He is a curious boy, who likes to be involved in whatever his human is doing. He will need to have lots of playtime in his schedule to keep him out of trouble!
Barty has met some adult cats as well as another kitten close to his age, but has a hard time playing respectfully. For this reason, we think he would do best without any other cats or with a young adult kitty who will be very patient with him and teach him. He has not met any dogs, but would likely do okay with a cat-friendly dog with a very slow introduction. Barty does get underfoot often and is still learning not to bite hands, so caution should be taken with small children or elderly adults.
This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.
