My name is Sawyer!

Meet Sawyer 🐾
Sawyer is a sweet 7-year-old, 60 lb. Chow mix looking for her new furever home. She's gentle, affectionate, and a little quirky. She loves the beach and river trips but is just as happy relaxing on the couch. She can be shy at first, but once she warms up, she'll snuggle right in (often using a pillow like a human!).

Her family has loved her since puppyhood, but after welcoming a baby and living in a small apartment, they know Sawyer would thrive with more space and attention. She'd do best with someone who can walk her regularly and ideally has a yard or enjoys an active lifestyle. She may do well with another dog, though she'll need time to adjust.

Sawyer walks with a gentle leader and gets excited around other dogs and wildlife, but with consistency (and some string cheese!) she's improving. She still has many wonderful years ahead and is ready for a home where she can truly thrive.
