My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Ivy! I am very excited to meet you, and I just know we are going to be best friends. My hobbies include purring (a lot!), exploring the world (there’s so much to see!), and getting into a little trouble (I’m a kitten after all!). I don’t have much life experience yet, but I’m willing to learn if you have the time to teach me. Do you think I might be the perfect match for you? I sure hope so.
Love, Ivy

Additional adoption info

At the Atlanta Humane Society, we process adoptions two different ways depending on whether an animal is physically housed at our Atlanta or Roswell location or in a foster home. The adoption process is listed in each animal’s biography so that you’ll know if you need to fill out a pre-adoption application form or visit them at our shelter to adopt. You can learn more about our adoption processes on our adoption process page.

More about this shelter

At the Atlanta Humane Society, we take special care to make sure the animals we house are a good fit for the homes they go to. We have a variety of friendly, healthy, tail-wagging furry friends just brimming with love to give. They’ve been seen by a vet and a behavior team, are up-to-date on vaccines, and go home with starter kit to help you get started off on the right paw. Even if they can’t say it out loud, when you find the right animal, you’ll feel the gratitude and affection. Your new best friend is waiting for you!
