If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Stubs and Lefty were rescued a few weeks ago from our neighborhood. They are around 14-16 weeks old. Stubs (male, black fluffy hair) is a shy boy and will need to be rehomed with is bonded sister Lefty (short haired tortoise), also a bit shy. They are both very sweet, litter trained, playful little explorers. Once Lefty has warmed up to you, she loves to lay in your lap and purr after a meal. Stubs will take a bit longer, but he is slowly coming out of his shell with lots of playtime, patience and love (and treats). In our experience, it is actually much easier to adopt 2 kittens as they require much less attention since they will entertain each other. We have appointments to be spayed/neutered/vaccinated/microchipped at the SPCA in January and our neighbors have chipped in to help cover the costs. They are really very sweet, well behaved adorable kittens and we have become very attached to them. We will be very sad to see them go, but know they will make another family very happy.
