We`re a bonded pair of handsome male ferrets that just arrived here at Greenhill! We`re settling in quickly, and are already getting into mischief. We do great with handling and have been confident, curious and playful. Ferrets need lots of out of cage time to keep them enriched and happy, and they also have special diets! We also like to play with our humans the way we play with other ferrets, which means we can be a little intense, sometimes. That means we aren`t great choices for houses with small children, and do best with older teenagers and adults. Our friends here at Greenhill can talk to you more about ferret care requirements when you come in to say hello!
My adoption fee includes a certificate for a free vet exam.

Directions from east or west: From the east, take the Beltline or surface streets to Barger Rd, or West 11th, and head west to Greenhill Rd. Turn left on Greenhill Rd (from Barger) or right from West 11th; we're approximately a mile down the road. From the west, take Hwy. 126 to Greenhill Rd., turn left at Greenhill Rd.

Greenhill Humane Society has been caring for animals in Lane County since 1944. We operate the only animal shelter within the Eugene/Springfield area. Our programs include animal adoptions; reuniting lost animals with their families; disaster response; crisis care boarding in situations of domestic violence, medical emergencies, and other crisis situations; spay/neuter for free roaming, un-owned community cats; a pet pantry; on-site volunteer opportunities; foster care and humane education.
Last year, we helped reunite or find new loving homes for 2,826 animals. In addition, we provided 469 cat spay/neuter surgeries to assist cat caregivers in reducing feral cat over-population.
Greenhill is a private non-profit and relies on donations for a majority of its budget. The generosity of our local community enables us to provide a high level of care to lost, abandoned, and neglected animals while at the same time helping pet owners in need.
