My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Benedict is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***

Benedict #20024: brown/black/white Snowshoe mix, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 12/1/23

Cats: comfortable, also good solo
Dogs: calm ones likely fine
Children: all ages

BACKGROUND: Benedict turned up at a marina where a colony of cats are fed and watched over by a caretaker. He was so friendly that she contacted a rescuer friend of hers who took him in and then asked The Rescue House if we could help him with the last step: a forever home!

PERSONALITY: Benedict is an amazing and super-friendly kitty whose striking blue eyes will quickly capture your heart. Easygoing and adaptable, he seeks people out for attention and pets, greeting you as you come home (including guests). Benedict will rub against legs to signal that he wants some loving. If you hold your finger or hand out, he’ll rub against that, too, and if you’ve gotten distracted he’ll place his paw on your arm in a reminder that he’s right here and pets please? (How can you say no? Forget it---you can’t.) You can carry him around and hold him like a baby. He loves treats, wet food, catnip toys, and soft cozy blankets. Calm, confident, curious, and gentle, Benedict is a perfect cat and the best companion.

COMPATIBILITY: Benedict is comfortable being around other cats and would also be happy as a solo kitty as he is very people-focused. Children of all ages should be fine as long as they possess the same calm energy that embodies Benedict; the same goes for dogs.

Benedict’s name means “blessed”… will he bring the blessing of his good company to your family?
