My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luigi is a young black Lab mix with movie-star looks and a personality that just keeps getting better the more you know him. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a bit of time and reassurance and—boom!—out comes the sweetest, silliest, most loyal best friend you could ask for. Once Luigi trusts you, he’s all about tail wags, happy hops, and sticking close to his favorite humans.

This gentle guy loves people and does wonderfully with other dogs. In fact, Luigi would absolutely love a home with a canine sibling to help build his confidence and show him how great life can be. Whether it’s playtime in the yard, neighborhood walks, or cozy naps, Luigi is happiest when he has a buddy by his side.

Anytime during open hours, no appointment needed. We also house adoptable cats at the Horseheads and Ithaca PetSmarts as well as Sondra's City Zoo in Elmira. Every other month, we alternate off-site adoption events between IRFCU in Sayre, PA and the Williamsport PetSmart.
