What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Big Man is an older (7-10 year) male stray that wandered under my shed to find some shelter and warmth this winter. I cannot afford to keep him and I own pet rabbits and thus cannot adopt an adult cat at this time (otherwise he would be mine because my wife and I have absolutely fallen in love with him). He’s a little over 10 pounds and the tip of his tail is crooked, as he likely broke it years ago and it healed at an angle. He’s an incredibly gentle and calm cat, and does very well with other cats and humans he doesn’t know. Unlike most cats, Big Man absolutely loves belly rubs. Despite not being fixed, he does not show any signs of aggressive or territorial behavior, and is fully litter trained. When we found him, it was clear he had some tummy discomfort, and it turned out he had roundworms. We have since medicated him and he’s back to full strength. $50 adoption fee covers medication, litter, and food costs for the time we’ve been fostering him. Please help us find him a home :)
