Meet Ivan, the majestic Great Pyrenees whose name alone sounds like he should be guarding a snowy mountain pass—or at least starring in an epic adventure novel. Ivan has that calm, dignified vibe—right up until you realize he’s also a total lovebug who will lean in for snuggles as if it’s the most important appointment on his schedule. Born around December 2020, Ivan is laid back, wonderfully mannered, and so easy on a leash that walking him feels like strolling with an old friend. Treat time? He sits politely like he’s at a fancy restaurant waiting for the bread basket, and he accepts snacks with the kind of grace that makes you question your own table manners. He’s affectionate in the sweetest way and truly embodies “gentle giant” to a T. While he's a magnet for people of all ages, kiddos included, he’s also a social guy who lights up around other dogs. He will need a dog companion in his forever home, because life is simply better with a trusty sidekick to help patrol the yard and report any suspicious leaf activity. Adopt Ivan and you’ll get a handsome, gentle-hearted companion who will happily supervise your life, approve your snack choices, and be the best decision you've made all year.
