This pet was brought in by their previous owner December 05,2025.

Cubby is a sweet, gentle young cat who's looking for a calm home where he can continue building confidence. He has lived indoors with many other cats and is generally calm around them, though new people and new environments can make him a bit scared at first. Once he feels safe, Cubby is very easy to handle-he's been comfortable with petting, grooming, and even vet care. He tolerated handling and injections without fuss and went back into his carrier with no trouble. A patient adopter who can offer reassurance, routine, and a quiet space to decompress will help him thrive. If you're looking for a gentle, sensitive cat ready to grow into a loving companion, Cubby may be the perfect fit.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
