Meet Mary — the life of the party with the most adorable jumbo ears you’ve ever seen!

Mary isn’t just cute—she’s a super-friendly sweetheart who loves everyone she meets. In Mary’s world, there are no strangers. Whether she’s making fast friends or romping around with her doggie pals, she brings pure joy and happy energy wherever she goes.

Mary gets along beautifully with other dogs and would love a furry companion in her forever home—or she’d be just as happy soaking up all the attention as a solo pet. She hasn’t met kids or cats yet, but with her happy-go-lucky attitude, she’d likely do well with both.

This smart girl is fully house-trained with a consistent schedule, crate-trained, and loves her walks. She generally does well on leash, though she might pull a little at first because she’s so excited for adventure—but she settles into a nice rhythm quickly. Her favorite activities include playing fetch, running around, and chew toys.

Mary is the perfect mix of fun, affection, and goofy charm. If you’re looking for a best friend with big ears and an even bigger heart, Mary is your match!

More about this rescue

Our mission at Last Hope K9 Rescue is to save every possible dog we can from being euthanized within high-volume kill shelters throughout the U.S.

As the literal “last hope” of nearly every animal we serve, we work tirelessly to place each one within a stable, loving environment that can act as either their forever home, or the gateway to their forever home. We also strive to ensure that all of our adoptions and foster placements are the optimal fit for everyone involved, including our dogs. This leads to our second goal: enriching human lives through canine companionship. To us, you can’t have one without the other.

Lastly, we promote animal welfare by lobbying important initiatives that both protect and give voice to the voiceless. By fostering an environment of collaboration with other organizations that share our goals, and working together instead of in competition, we find that we accomplish more.
