Rufus Redlow is an older short-stack sweetheart with a loyal soul and the battle scars to show he’s survived a ruff life. He was a known stray in Tulsa, where community members shared that he’d lived homeless for years, and his deep, healed scarring confirms the hardships he’s endured. Our best guess is that he’s a Bassador mix, built low to the ground with a big heart and a gentle temperament. Rufus is incredibly sweet and patient as he learns the rhythms of indoor living after so long on the streets. He still keeps an eye on the door, a habit from surviving outside, but we know that with time, consistency, and kindness he’ll settle in and realize the comforts of a home are finally his to keep. He’s a resilient, loving boy ready for someone who can show him what safety truly feels like.
