My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ajax — the sweetest little sidekick you could ever hope for!

At just 3 months old and 12 pounds, this gentle Border Collie mix may be small in size, but he’s overflowing with charm, affection, and calm, steady love. His foster affectionately calls him Bandit, and he is the kind of dog who settles into your heart instantly — and he’s officially ready to find a forever family of his very own.

Bandit is the perfect blend of:

    •    Super friendly, people-loving energy

    •    Calm, easygoing vibes

    •    Smart, loyal Border Collie sweetness

He’s crate trained, gets along beautifully with other animals, and is just about fully potty trained — this little guy is well on his way to being the perfect companion. Whether you’re a first-time dog parent or a seasoned pup pro, Ajax fits right in.

His exact breed mix might be a mystery, but one thing’s certain: whatever he is, he turned out absolutely adorable.

Ajax would thrive with a loving family who wants a built-in snuggle buddy, a gentle walking partner, and a friend who’s always happy to be by your side.

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
