My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pugsley — Your Future Best Friend!
Border Collie Mix • Puppy •almost 4 months old,  Available for Adoption

Say hello to Pugsley, the sweetest, silliest, most snuggly little guy you’ll ever meet! This adorable Border Collie mix was born to be someone’s shadow, adventure buddy, and professional cuddle expert. He’s smart, loyal, playful, and oh-so-ready to be a cherished member of a forever family.

Pugsley’s Wonderful Qualities

Great with everyone!
dogs • cats • kids • adults • elderly — he loves them all!
Pugsley just wants friends, cuddles, and someone to share his big puppy heart with.

Playful + Sweet Nature
Loves being outside
Enjoys toys and playtime
Excellent cuddler
Treat-motivated (SO excited for snacks!)
‍ Loves playing with other dogs
Loves being pet
Curious, gentle, and eager to learn

Energy & Manners
He’s a fun mix of playful and snuggly.
Energetic and playful
‍ Walks beautifully on leash — no pulling, just happy sniffing
Sleeps well
Baby chewing (normal puppy stuff!)
Barks a little, but not much
No shedding yet!

Training
Puppy pad trained
Not fully house trained yet
No crate experience
Knows “come,” responds to NO, and comes running when you call or pat your lap — he wants to be with his people so badly.

Fears
Pugsley doesn’t love loud or strange noises — typical puppy nerves — but he settles quickly with reassurance.

Personality

Pugsley is everything a wonderful puppy should be:
Smart
Loyal
Fun-loving
Affectionate
Eager to please
He’s determined to be part of a family and gives his whole heart to the people he loves.

Pugsley’s Ideal Home

Pugsley would thrive with:
Another friendly dog (preferred — he loves having a buddy!)
A fenced yard (helpful for training + play)
‍ Someone home most of the day
Older kids are great
A family or person who wants a true companion

He’s okay alone for short periods, but he’s a baby who loves companionship — whether a human or a furry friend.

Ready to Love You Forever

Pugsley isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for a family, someone who will laugh with him, train him, cuddle him, and let him grow into the incredible dog he’s destined to be.

If you’re looking for a sweet, bright, loving puppy who will adore you endlessly…
Pugsley is your boy!

He is being fostered in Montclair, NY
A neuter deposit will be required as part of the adoption process.  He is up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchippped.  He is available for adoption in NJ and the surrounding area.

Go meet their pets

Our rescues are with fosters on the east coast. The location in which the foster resides should be listed with each profile.

We are setting up some adoption events now, but are free for private meet and greets if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets!

More about this rescue

We have a passion for senior animals. To be able to save an animal from dying alone in a shelter, to give it a chance to live out its last days/months/years in a home with the proper care and love it deserves, instead of a cold shelter, is what drives us to keep going.

We obviously have financial needs that come with rescuing senior dogs, so we will be rescuing puppies and younger dogs as well so we are able to care for our seniors.
