My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snickers — the softest soul with the biggest heart.

Snickers is a 2-year-old, 45-pound sweetheart who melts right into you with a quiet kind of love that feels like he’s been yours forever. He’s gentle, calm, and so eager to bond with his people.

Snickers has been an absolute star with his potty training — not a single accident. His neuter is scheduled for Monday, and he’s been such a patient, easy boy through it all.

He loves having a cozy crate to eat in or relax in, but he doesn’t like being shut inside. He’s a sensitive guy who does best when he knows he isn’t being separated from his people. Despite that, he’s never been destructive — not a chewed toy, not a thing out of place. He truly just wants to be good.

Around other dogs, Snickers is wonderfully polite. He’ll happily play a gentle game of chase but isn’t a wrestler. He coexists with an easy, peaceful energy and enjoys being near both dogs and people. He even loves curling up next to his foster sister Mabel… even if she doesn’t always appreciate his snuggles.

Snickers walks beautifully on a harness, staying close and checking in often. His favorite place in the world is simply near you. He doesn’t need constant entertainment — just the comfort of knowing you’re there.

He would do best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long stretches. He’s been perfectly well-behaved while free-roaming for 4–5 hours, but he thrives when his people are around. Snickers is the kind of dog who gives his whole heart to his family, and he just wants someone who will let him follow them from room to room, lay by their feet, and be part of everything.

If you’re searching for a loyal, tender, quietly devoted companion…

Snickers is waiting with his whole heart.
