Here's what the humans have to say about me:
** I am seeking a FOSTER to help me figure out life in a home setting **
Meet Bruno!
Bruno arrived at FVHA as a transfer from a partner rescue. He has unfortunately spent almost his entire life in a shelter. At nearly 8 years old, this has obviously had an impact on him. Due to his inexperience living in a home setting, we are seeking a foster who is willing to help us give him the slow transition he needs to an adoptive home.
We have discovered Bruno has some anxieties with new people (particularly men) and forms a very strong attachment to his person/people. We are hoping to find a foster who has some experience with anxious, senior dogs and FVHA will be there to support you all along the way! After years in shelter, we want to give Bruno the best shot at experiencing life in a loving home and you can help us do that!
Bruno has been dog tested and might do well with a confident, female dog to show him the ropes of home life. We would prefer a foster with a calm home environment. We are unsure of his background with cats or small animals.
Bruno is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped.
If you think you are the person we have been looking for, don`t hesitate to reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org
