My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor Only*

Are you looking for an instant best friend? Miss Q is a lot of love in a little package. She is affectionate with everyone and gets so excited that she will rub all over you with purrs and meows. Once she has had enough pets, she will settle down for a nap in your lap.

Miss Q was trapped several months ago around the time that there was a rabies incident in the area. She has been keep in quarantine to ensure there was no exposure and now seems to be making up for lost time of love in her foster home.

Miss Q is a simple girl. She likes wand toys, treats, and a good nap spot, hopefully with a lot of human interaction. She will "pet" you back with her paws and kneed, which is a scent sharing and bonding move for cats. She is good with other cats. Dogs unknown but her outgoing personality would probably work well.

Adoption fee for both: $100, includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
