Meet Homer! This resilient 6-month-old brown tabby has been through a lot, but his gentle spirit shines brighter than ever. Found in a Home Depot parking lot with an injured pelvis, he bravely recovered and now gets around just fine on three legs. Homer is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves soft pets, cozy naps, and bonding with his favorite humans. His calm, loving nature makes him an easy companion—one who will reward kindness with endless purrs and loyalty. He’s ready to leave his tough beginnings behind and start a beautiful new chapter in a forever home.

Cat Tales Rescue NC is the nonprofit rescue arm of Cat Tales Cat Cafe, which provides a unique and invaluable avenue for adoptions. The Cat Cafe environment allows us to get to know each cat and adopter individually enabling us to set adopters up for success which leads to happier adoptions. Even previously overlooked cats get a chance to shine at the café. At the Cat Cafe, cats get adopted quickly, which allows us to be efficient and cost effective, but most importantly, cause the least amount of stress on the cats.
