Kora was rescued from a high-kill facility. She had been reported as a cat in distress with her leg caught in her collar. No one stepped up to claim her so DCC put her with a foster. She has had surgery to repair the damage caused by the collar. Shes a sweet girl that just loves people; even after all she's been through. Shes hoping to find a home that will care for her the rest of her life.

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
