Robot is a soft gray kitten with crisp white markings and the sweetest personality. He’s the calmer, gentler balance to his spunky sister Skelly — a curious, affectionate little guy who just wants to follow his human, cuddle up, and feel close to the people he loves.
True to his nickname, Robot stays glued right by your side like a loyal little shadow, quietly observing, quietly purring, quietly making your heart melt.
He does great with other kittens and will require a young feline friend in his forever home. His favorite buddy is his foster sister Skelly, who brings out his playful side and shares his naps.

Toy: A ball race track — he LOVES batting the ball around and watching it spin.
Sleeping spot: Curled up with Skelly… or even better, curled up on your neck or shoulder like a tiny warm scarf.
Food: Purina One dry food is his top favorite.

He gently nibbles your hair (it’s a love language, he swears).
He always stays close, following you around like a soft, purring shadow.
He melts completely when he gets to nap on your shoulder — instant purr machine.

Robot is one of six kittens born at Animal Control to a very young mama. He came to us small and unsure, but he has grown into an affectionate, gentle soul who loves deeply and bonds easily.

We’re thrilled you’re considering giving one of our cats or kittens a loving forever home! Here’s what to expect during the adoption process:
📋 Adoption Application & Contract
To ensure the best match for both you and our cats, we require:
Adoption Application – Helps us understand your home, motivation for adoption, and expectations as a pet owner.
Adoption Contract – Includes an indoor-only and no declawing clause, as well as a Vet Promissory Note to ensure continued veterinary care and spay/neuter follow-through (if applicable).
🌍 Adoption Area
We do not adopt out of state, except on a case-by-case basis near the North Carolina border.
💸 Adoption Donations
Your donation helps us continue rescuing and caring for cats in need:
Unaltered kittens – a minimum donation of $120.
(Includes vaccine series, deworming, and medical care. Adopter is responsible for spay/neuter and rabies vaccine once age-appropriate. We can recommend low-cost vet services.)
Spayed/Neutered cats – a minimum donation of $140
Bonded pairs – a minimum donation of $200
Career/Barn cats – a minimum donation of $25
🏡 Additional Requirements
Meet & Greet is required to ensure a good match—please bring the whole family!
In some cases, we may require a home inspection or rental verification.

Billy the Kidden Rescue is a VDACS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2014 and supported by a network of over 60 active foster homes across Hampton Roads.
Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce the feral cat population in our community by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens—transforming them into loving, adoptable pets and placing them in safe, forever homes.

We are proud advocates of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)—the humane, effective method of managing community cats. Through this program, feral cats are:
