Rossie is a gentle soul with a big heart and a waggy tail. His early life was incredibly hard; he was rescued from a dog-fighting ring, where he was used as a bait dog, but you'd never know it from how sweet and affectionate he is. He loves couch cuddles, slow strolls, and being part of a family.
Rossie has lived peacefully with dogs, cats, and kids his whole life. He does have a limp and some issues with his back left leg, and he can get anxious when left alone for long periods, so a home with someone around most of the time would help him feel safe.
Ideally Rossie would be adopted with the dog he currently lives with, Kessler who is also listed on this site, but the two are not a bonded pair, so they could be adopted separately. Rossie's original adopter, the mother of their family passed away suddenly, so the family no longer has enough resources to keep their dogs.
