My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tundra — the Confident, Affectionate, Food-Stealing Good Girl! ❄️🐾

Age: 10 months • Gender: Female • Bonded Pair: Must be adopted with her sister, Dent

Tundra is a stunning short-haired grey tabby with beautiful orange highlights and an even more beautiful personality. She is confident, affectionate, tolerant, and absolutely unforgettable. Where Dent brings diva energy, Tundra brings charm, confidence, and steady companionship. Together, they make the perfect pair.

💗 Personality & Vibes

Tundra is: Affectionate • Gentle • Confident • Easygoing • Cuddly • Tolerant • Independent • Quiet • Attention-Seeking

She is incredibly loving, open to tummy rubs, and one of the most tolerant, good-natured cats her foster has ever had.

🧸 Her Favorite Things

Her sister Dent, the cat tree, and anything shaped like a mouse

Sleeping spot: On the cat tree with Dent, where they curl up like matching little bookends

Treat: Catnip — and honestly any food she can steal

😻 Why Tundra Is Completely Endearing

She gets SO excited that she literally rolls off furniture — couch, bed, cat tree… gravity is not her friend

She LOVES tummy rubs and seeks affection constantly

She has a beautifully unique look and an even more beautiful personality

She’s extremely tolerant — handling, cuddles, chaos… she rolls with everything

She “owned the house” the second she walked in, confident and cozy from day one

She will absolutely steal your food if you turn your head for even one second
(Or if you don’t turn your head… she will still try.)

🐾 Great With

Cats

Kittens

Kids
Dogs are unknown, but her calm, tolerant nature suggests she could adapt with proper introductions.

📖 Her Story

Tundra and Dent were both former street kittens who were adopted young but had to be surrendered later by their previous owner. Despite the upheaval, Tundra walked into her foster home like she had always belonged. She adapted instantly and has shown nothing but love, confidence, and affection since.

🌟 Bonded Pair — Must Be Adopted Together

Tundra and Dent are deeply bonded, balancing each other’s personalities beautifully.

Dent is the diva cuddle bug

Tundra is the confident, tolerant sweetheart
Together, they are affectionate, gentle, and so entertaining — a truly perfect duo.

If you’re looking for two young, loving, well-mannered, endlessly affectionate girls who will fill your home with snuggles, silliness, and companionship, Dent and Tundra are the complete package. ❄️❤️🐾

More about this rescue

🐾 Our Mission at Billy the Kidden Rescue 🐾

Billy the Kidden Rescue is a VDACS-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2014 and supported by a network of over 60 active foster homes across Hampton Roads.

Our mission is to improve the lives of displaced cats and reduce the feral cat population in our community by socializing outdoor-born and feral kittens—transforming them into loving, adoptable pets and placing them in safe, forever homes.

💙 Our Heart is in TNR
We are proud advocates of TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return)—the humane, effective method of managing community cats. Through this program, feral cats are:

✔️ Trapped
✔️ Neutered or Spayed
✔️ Vaccinated
✔️ Ear-Tipped (as a universal sign they've been fixed)
✔️ Returned to live safely in their outdoor colonies without contributing to overpopulation.

We are actively working to promote legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads.

🐱 Feral Kitten Socialization
Our feral kitten socialization program is one of a kind—with a 90% success rate in helping feral-born kittens become affectionate, in-home pets. Through experienced fostering, patience, and love, these kittens learn to trust, play, and thrive indoors.

💪 Get Involved!
We’re always looking for passionate animal lovers to join our team. Help us make a difference by becoming a:
