I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm David, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.

What my Foster Says About Me:

David is pure sweetness wrapped in soft black fur. When you pick him up, he completely melts — going limp in your arms with total trust. He is deeply affectionate, emotionally intuitive, and loves quiet connection.

David has a gentle, sensitive side. Sudden noises or fast movement might send him scurrying for a moment, but he always circles back. If you pause, hold out your hand, or call him softly, he stops, listens, and comes right to you — often nuzzling his head into your palm and asking for affection.

He’s playful and curious like any kitten, but he also shows a lovely sense of independence. David is comfortable entertaining himself, resting quietly, or stepping away when things get busy. Because of this, he would do well in a calm to moderately active home, including families who understand that some kittens need a little time to adjust. He may briefly hide in a new environment, but he will absolutely come out, play, and bond deeply once he feels safe.

David may be smaller, but he’s confident, scrappy during play, and incredibly loving. He would be a wonderful fit for a family, a couple, or a home with a calm dog — especially one that values affection, patience, and emotional connection.

David is the kind of kitten who chooses his person and trusts completely. Once he bonds, he is all love.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
