My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edmond is a sweet, affectionate kitten who’s looking for a special home to grow up in. He tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) at intake, and because young kittens can carry their mother’s antibodies, he’ll need a recheck test at around 6 months old to know his true status.

There is a chance Edmond may truly have FeLV. If his follow-up test is positive, he’ll simply need to be the only cat in the home, since FeLV can be shared through close contact between cats. Many FeLV-positive cats live happy, love-filled lives, but they do have more delicate immune systems and may have a shorter lifespan. Care usually focuses on keeping them comfortable, healthy, and well-loved.

Right now, Edmond is playful, gentle, and full of kitten charm. Whether he outgrows his positive test or remains FeLV-positive, he deserves a family who will cherish him. If you have room in your heart for a special little guy, Edmond is ready to give all his love in return.
