Hi there...my name is Mabel, and I’m a sweet little scruffy terrier weighing about 11 lbs, I am about 1–2 years old. I was found at a flea market being given away for free, but those days are behind me now, and I’m ready for a real home and a real family.
I’m heartworm negative and Chagas positive, but don’t worry.... Chagas is completely treatable, and I’m already on my medication and doing great. I do not have any symptoms at all.
I love my dog friends and I love my people, too. My only little quirk is that deep down, I’d really prefer to be someone’s one-and-only. I CAN live with other dogs just fine, but when it comes to my person, I don’t always love to share. If I’m curled up on your lap, I’d rather not have another dog barging in .... that’s just how much I adore my humans.
I’m hoping for a calm, loving home of my own where I can finally relax and enjoy life outside the chaos of rescue.

Make sure all of your references (and veterinarian, if applicable) are expecting a call. We are an all-volunteer team, please allow 3-5 business days.
Step 3: Pay adoption fee
Adult dogs & puppies 6mo+ $325
Puppies younger than 6 months $375
Please do not pay the adoption fee until your application has been approved, and your adoption counselor has given you the "ok" to adopt one of our dogs.
