Dexter is a tenderhearted 2-year-old who weighs 18 lbs. Don't let his white muzzle fool you.... he's a young sweet boy. He is a little shy at first, but once he knows you’re kind, his heart opens wide.
He is heartworm positive (treated) and Chagas negative.
He craves gentle affection and will blossom in a patient, calm home where he feels safe. Coming from a background where he likely wasn’t cared for....he just needs time and love to learn that he is finally home.
Dexter gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue...and loves people. Once he trusts you, he is the sweetest little companion you could ask for.
Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives:
• Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate)
• All core vaccines (age-appropriate)
• Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
• Regular Deworming
• Spay/neuter surgery
• Microchip

Step 3: Pay adoption fee
Adult dogs & puppies 6mo+ $325
Puppies younger than 6 months $375
Please do not pay the adoption fee until your application has been approved, and your adoption counselor has given you the "ok" to adopt one of our dogs.
