My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Meet Tank — a Gentle Senior with Classic Old-Man Charm**

Tank is an older, sweet-souled gentleman with the softest heart and an endearing “old man grumble” when he’s not quite ready to get moving. He’s loving, gentle, and thrives in a calm, predictable routine. When it’s time for a walk, he’ll let you know with a little whine—but if he’s comfy and doesn’t feel like going out just yet, you may hear his signature grumble of protest.

Tank is fantastic in the car, happily settling into the back seat and moving between windows to enjoy the view. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and finds lots of comfort in his crate, especially during loud noises or fireworks. When something startles him, he’ll tuck his tail and seek out his safe space.

He enjoys the simple pleasures in life: feeding puzzles, gentle games of tug-of-war, watching TV with the kids, and just being near his people. Tank does well with other dogs of all sizes and feels especially confident around smaller dogs. Bath time is easy—he calmly sits and waits—and while he tolerates nail trims, he may gently pull his paw back.

Tank knows **sit**, **stay**, and **go to crate**, and truly shines in a home that respects his age and pace. He would do best in a home with **older children** who understand he’s a senior dog and appreciates calm, respectful handling. Tank is also not a fan of clothes—if he does need to wear something, snap-on or quick on-and-off clothing works best for him.

Tank is a loyal, comforting companion who brings quiet love, gentle joy, and senior-dog wisdom to the right home ready to cherish him.
