Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Eggnog! ❄️🍬🐾 This sweet little 1-year-old Yorkie weighs just 8.4 pounds and is full of love and snuggles. With her soft white coat and gentle personality, Eggnog is a calm, affectionate cuddle bug who melts under head scritches and enjoys every bit of attention you give. 🐶💖
Eggnog has tested heartworm positive, which means she has a parasite that can be treated with medication. It’s easily manageable, and she just needs a calm, steady environment to complete her treatment—something we can’t provide here at the shelter. If you’re interested, a front desk representative can share all the safe and effective treatment options available. With the right care, Eggnog will continue being her sweet, loving self. ✨🤍
If you’re looking for a tiny, gentle companion who is ready to give endless cuddles and love, come meet Eggnog—she’s waiting for someone special to take her home and help her thrive! 🌟🐾
I have tested heartworm positive. This means I have a parasite and need treatment. While my friends at HSNBA desperately want to help me, the shelter is too stressful an environment to undertake treatment and treatment itself is very expensive. The shelter has a few options to help with treatment, and if I steal your heart you should talk with them and your vet about what my treatment is like. For more information on heartworms, please visit the American Heartworm Society here https://www.heartwormsociety.org/pet-owner-resources/heartworm-basicsHSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight. Some of these animals may not be available for adoption at this moment, but you can always call the shelter at 830-629-5287 for clarification on the adoption process or the animal's current status.
