Han is a fluffy orange dream with a curious heart and a playful spirit waiting to shine. This handsome Domestic Long Hair is about 8.5 months old and very much in his teenage phase, full of energy, exploration, and personality. With his orange tabby and white coloring and his extra fluffy tail, he often reminds people of a Turkish Van look alike. Han is shy and independent at first and will run and hide when someone new enters the room, but patience and food treats are the key to his heart. Once he starts to feel safe, his sweet side emerges and he rewards trust with deep, happy purrs and gentle affection on his own terms. He especially enjoys head scratches once he is comfortable and loves to observe everything around him with his thoughtful, curious nature. Playtime is where Han truly comes alive. He adores wand toys, foil balls, climbing to the very top of the cat tree, and bird watching from the window. He loves playing with other friendly cats, who help boost his confidence and make him feel secure. Han can live with calm, respectful dogs who do not pester him. A quieter home with no small children and people who understand shy cats would be the best fit for him. If you are looking for a soft, gentle companion who will blossom with time, patience, and love, please contact us for more information about Han.

All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
