My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sully, the little dog with the biggest heart and an even bigger second chance.
At 12 years old and just 16 pounds, this gentle chihuahua/Jack Russell mix has already lived quite a life—but his story nearly ended far too soon. Sully was rescued from the kill shelter a mere 90 minutes before he was scheduled to be euthanized. In that moment, his whole world changed… and now he’s ready for his true forever family to find him.
Despite what he’s been through, Sully is nothing but sweetness. He’s excellent with other dogs, happy to share his space and his calm, easygoing energy. He’s also crate trained, potty trained, and loves nothing more than curling up beside someone who will let him snooze peacefully. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, he’s your guy.
Sully may be a little hard of hearing, but he makes up for it with attentiveness and charm. He enjoys leisurely walks, padding along gently at your side with his leash manners perfectly polished. He’s a simple soul—no drama, no fuss—just a low-maintenance companion who wants comfort, safety, and someone to love.
If you’re searching for a loyal little friend who will fill your home with warmth (and adorable nap positions), Sully is ready to give you all the devotion in his little body.
What lucky person will give this sweet senior the cozy forever home he’s been waiting his whole life to have?

More about this rescue

Loved Again Pets focuses on animals 6 years and older and special needs animals. We do rescue younger dogs that need our help when there is a need. Most of our animals come from high kill shelters, but we also help out with local surrenders. We are a foster based rescue and have foster homes in California and Oregon.
