This boy has come such a long way since arriving sick and scared, and now that he’s feeling better, he’s blossoming into the sweetest companion. He loves full-body pets and chin scratches, and once he trusts you, he melts into every bit of affection you offer.
Shaggy is a big fan of playtime and will happily emerge from his cozy hiding spots the second he hears a wand toy swish. He isn’t too interested in wet food, but he enjoys his dry kibble and is steadily gaining confidence every day. He’s curious about other animals and is especially interested in friendly cats and even the resident dog. When he meows, it’s usually to chat with another furry friend he spots nearby. He has never hissed, even when frightened, which says everything about his gentle nature.
Shaggy watches the cats around him closely to understand what’s safe and how to navigate the world, and he thrives with calm, confident feline friends. He would do best in a quieter home without young children, where he can continue learning, building trust, and taking cues from other cats. He absolutely loves having playmates and would flourish in a multicat household.
