Meet Tiny Tim
Don’t let the name fool you… okay, actually — it’s pretty accurate. 😄 Tiny Tim is truly tiny, but his personality is anything but!

This little guy came in with several other dogs, and our Facebook followers helped choose the perfect name to match his look and spirit. Tiny Tim is a Boxer/Chihuahua mix (heavy on the Chihuahua!) and currently weighs only 13–15 pounds. We guess him to be between 2-3 years old. He may be small, but he has big dog energy in the best way.

He’s spunky, playful, and always ready for an adventure. He loves to zoom around during playtime, then happily curl up beside you for snuggles and kisses. He’s the kind of pup who makes every moment brighter — small in size, huge in charm.

If you’ve been wishing for a tiny best friend with a big personality, Tiny Tim just might be your guy.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees for dogs includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, flea and tick prevention, heart worm prevention, heart worm tested, and microchip registration.

Adult Dogs: $200
Puppies: $225

Cat adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, FIV/FeLV testing, flea and tick prevention, and microchip registration.

Adult Cats: $75 (or $125 for a pair)
Kittens: $90 (or $150 for a pair)

Since 1979, the Effingham County Humane Society has been committed to serving Effingham County, IL and the surrounding area. We are located in the former Funkhouser School, and our non-profit shelter is sustained by volunteers, fundraising, contributions, and adoption fees.

The goal of the Effingham County Humane Society is to reduce animal suffering in our county through educating and promoting responsible pet ownership, including spaying/neutering pets, appropriate pet identification, proper pet care, and the quality adoption of homeless pets.
