Sleek, clever, and just a little bit dramatic (in the best way), Morticia Adams is a stunning black kitten with a tiny white “secret-spot” on her chest and the biggest, most observant eyes you’ve ever seen. This girl has been captivating humans since she was a tiny neonatal orphan. She used to sit at your feet and gaze up into your soul like she was reading your destiny. Now she’s grown into that gaze, and trust us: she misses nothing.
Morticia is a curious, intelligent explorer who loves to investigate every nook, cranny, and blanket fort in her kingdom (fabric bins are her favorite—her personal portals to Narnia). She pops out of hiding spots like a tiny, playful shadow—never to scare, always to join the fun. She’s confident with people, will trot right up to you, perch on your knee for a little scratch, then bounce off (literally) to her next adventure with her signature happy little bound.
She gets along wonderfully with other cats and enjoys having kitten companions. but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself when needed. Whether she’s wrestling with her bigger siblings or going solo on a one-kitten expedition, she does everything with enthusiasm and bright, observant curiosity.
While she enjoys being close to her humans, she’s also an independent girl who doesn’t need constant snuggling to feel secure. Every once in a while she’ll treat you to a surprise cuddle session (usually curled by your feet or tucked behind your knees at night) and those cozy moments feel like magic because she chose them. Even though she is independent, if you leave the room, she’ll eventually come looking for you like a little quiet shadow!
Morticia is excellent with kids of all ages, adults, strangers, and other cats. She has participated in BKB kitten cuddles and THRIVED with all strangers and ages and seemed to love it. She has perfect litter box manners, eats wonderfully, and absolutely loves drinking water—she never misses a chance for a refreshing sip.
Her siblings are being adopted together, but Morticia is ready for her own forever home where she can shine as the brilliant, quirky, affectionate little star she is. She also has extended family (from the same litter but grew up in a different foster home)—Uncle Fester, Pugsley Adams, and Gomez Adams—listed on the site!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Morticia Adams will need to be adopted with another Bitty Kitty!
The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.
Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.
Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.
The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
