Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tater — the Bestest Potato Around!
If you’re looking for a chonky, wiggly bundle of joy, Tater is your guy! This adorable pup got his name because, well… he’s shaped like the perfect little potato. A very cute potato.
Tater is the best mix of playful puppy energy and snuggly sweetness. He bounces, wiggles, wrestles, and greets every human or dog with a wildly happy tail. But the moment he’s ready to chill? He transforms into a certified couch potato who loves nothing more than cuddles and neck scratches.
He’s especially fond of kids (they make the best playmates!), though his baby teeth are still a bit sharp—so gentle, supervised play is best.
Cold weather? Not Tater’s fave. And grass? Also suspicious. But he’s working hard on potty skills and already knows how to ring a bell when he needs to go out—because Tater is one smart spud.
He currently lives with two big foster dog brothers and isn’t even a little bit intimidated. He loves to wrestle and show them who’s boss! His foster family thinks he’d do great in a home with dogs, cats, and kiddos alike.
If you’re ready for laughs, snuggles, and endless potato-flavored joy, Tater is the pup for you!
All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
