Rune is a handsome short-haired brown tabby with a heart as soft as his stripes are bold. When he first came into foster care, he was a bit shy, taking his time to observe the world from a cozy corner. But with patience, love, and the company of other animals, Rune has truly blossomed.
Today, he’s a curious and adventurous boy who loves to follow the action, explore new spaces, and soak up attention from his favorite humans. Rune is wonderfully social—he adores other cats, gets along beautifully with dogs, and is gentle and friendly with kids. Whether he’s playing with a feline friend or curling up for pets, Rune is happiest when he’s part of the family.
Rune would thrive in a home with another cat friend or a family that enjoys interactive play and lots of cuddle time. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a blossoming personality and a playful spirit, Rune is ready to fill your home with joy.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster home-based organization. We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org . There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!
PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue will consider adoption applicants from many parts of the country. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the TCPR office in Maplewood, MN.

TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
