Meet Bones!

Bones came into the shelter as a tiny pup alongside her mom and sibling. While they both found homes right away, Bones has grown up waiting patiently for her turn. This sweet girl may start off a little shy, but once she feels safe, her playful personality and gentle cuddle-loving nature shine through.

Bones is currently part of our Hamilton Hounds Prison Program, where she’s learning basic obedience, building confidence, and bonding beautifully with her handler. She’s smart, sensitive, and eager to please—everything you want in a loyal companion.

Bones is ready for someone who will give her the same love and patience she offers in return. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, devoted friend, Bones just might be your perfect match. 💜🐾

We are located at 1740 W. Gordon Street, Valdosta GA 31601. We are right down the road from Ellianos in Remerton. We invite you to come see our cats at our office, Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. Call 229-247-3266 to confirm.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
