PART OF A BONDED PAIR
FOSTERED IN CARLSBAD
Born ~9/12/25
Meet Taquito! a very handsome boy with silky soft fur.
He came into the shelter with his brother who was adopted and he was left alone. He was very sad and lonely and we brought him into foster where he showed signs of depression and shyness. Another young, confident kitten Neagan, who was a singleton, was brought into the same foster home and was placed with Taquito. He instantly perked up and started playing and grew more confidence around people. He greets his foster mama when she enters the room with long, dramatic (but adorable) meows to let her know hes happy.
Although shy at first, Taquito welcomes pets and human touch and affection. He was grown alot in the time with his foster mom and continues to show his loving, playful side. He will warm up even more with time and would love a home with someone who will keep up his progress with patience and love. It is clear he wasnt shown alot of toys as many of them, he is learning to play with for the first time (and is clearly loving them!)
He needs to go to a home with his buddy Neagan to continue to thrive during his young formative years in his new home. He has become bonded and dependent on him and Neagan helps show Taquito everything is going to be fine! Will you be his new family? To adopt both boys the total fee would be $300. They will not be separated.
Taquito is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for external parasites. He is currently fostered in Carlsbad. His DOB is approximately 9/12/2025. He will be available to go home with Neagan after 12/14/2025, as Neagan is being neutered on 12/12/25

Today, Tomorrow, Forever Animal Rescue (TTFAR) is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization committed to helping abandoned, discarded, or otherwise homeless animals in need from shelters in Southern California. TTFAR was created by a group of experienced and dedicated cat rescuers who wished to change the overwhelming problem of far too many homeless and at-risk kittens in local shelters.
While in our care, these pets receive physical and medical treatments, and human socialization with the goal of finding them an appropriate forever family and home.
TTFAR does not have a shelter or facility; all the animals in our care are fostered in our volunteers’ homes throughout Southern California.
The Adoption Process
TTFAR has an application each potential adopter needs to fill out. This will help us help you choose the right pet for you and your family. After your application has been approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled so you and your family can meet your potential new pet. At this time, the pet’s foster can give you more information about him or her. Depending on the pet and situation, a home check may be scheduled to determine if there are any inadvertent dangers in your home. We want to make sure you, your family, and the pet are the best fit possible as this is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.
TTFAR, Volunteers, and an Increasing Need
TTFAR has volunteers with the knowledge and abilities to foster kittens and cats who need time to grow, develop, and heal before they are ready to find their forever family and home. Underage kittens are the most euthanized group of animals in the shelter system. With too many kittens arriving at the shelters with too few resources to care for these babies, help is needed. Though our focus is on cat and kitten rescue, our fosters have experience with puppies and dogs and as our rescue grows, you may see a few cold noses popping up from time to time.
