Meet Zeus! Zeus came to us as a stray in pretty terrible condition; emaciated, in pain, and unsure of everything. Thankfully Zeus is on the mend, slowly starting to gain weight and regain his confidence. Zeus's ideal home will be familiar with owning Cane Corso, as Zeus is a big guy with a very breed-typical personality. Zeus is potty trained and knows sit, down, and shake! According to Zeus' previous owner he does well with children and cats, however he has not been cat or kid tested in the shelter. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Zeus home. OUR MISSION: It is the mission of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center & Shelter to provide an environment of continuous improvement; emphasizing excellent service and safety for the community; providing the dogs and people of Fairfield County protection, care, and compassion with innovative, yet sustainable means; all while maintaining a standard of the utmost integrity.
It is the purpose of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center and Shelter to embrace the dogs of the community; to keep lost or adoptable dogs safe until they can find their way home; to protect Fairfield County through the enforcement of Section 955 of the Ohio Revised Code , and to continue to provide the community with education opportunities on the importance of pet safety and population control.
