Hi, my name is Jake and I'm about 9 months old. Me and my litter mate, Maggie, were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from a kill shelter in TN. I am friendly and crave attention. I am looking for a human companion that shares my interest in walks and playing. I really enjoy learning new things and I already know several commands. I am an excellent student and eager to learn. I'm very smart, alert and watch everything going on around me. I like activities that engage my mind like puzzle toys, etc. I need a firm leader who sets boundaries for me and is consistent with what's expected of me. I respond best to positive reinforcement with treats, praise and play. I would do best with older children that can handle my energy. I would do best in a home where I am not crated for more than a couple hours/day. I have seen cats, but have not had any interaction with them. I am crate trained and working on house training. I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $150.
