Hi, my name is Jake and I'm about 8 months old. Me and my litter mate, Maggie, were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from a kill shelter in TN. We were found as strays when we were about 10 weeks old. I am friendly and love attention. I am not very interested in toys. I love food and being with people. I like to go for leash walks and run in the yard. I am still working on my puppy manners. I know "Sit" and "Down" for treats. I'm very smart, alert and watch everything going on around me. When I get excited all my manners are temporarily forgotten. I need a lot of exercise to help me have a release for my energy. I am good with other dogs and would do well with another dog with my energy level. It would be helpful if my adopter(s) had some previous experience with dogs like me. I have seen cats, but have not had any interaction with them. I am crate trained. I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $300.
