My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tater was heartbreakingly dumped the week of Thanksgiving, arriving timid and covered in wounds—but even then, he never lost his openness to love. From the start, he’s shown himself to be a true sweetheart who’s always eager to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four.

Tater is still learning some house manners, but he’s already doing great with car rides, is crate trained and potty trained, and knows how to give high fives and sweet hugs. His favorite place in the world is in your arms—he would happily be held all day if you let him.

Sometimes, when Tater is showered with affection and enjoys the comfort of consistent meals, he becomes so overwhelmed with gratitude that he softly cries. It’s a touching reminder of just how much this gentle soul appreciates love and security.

He adores squeaky toys, especially the ones with ropes, and can’t wait to share playtime with his future family. Tater is ready to leave his past behind and fill a forever home with endless affection, loyalty, and joy.
