My name is Bertha!

My wife and I took her off the street when she showed up at a coworkers door, after 3 months of searching we finally found the owner. The owner said when she got out of the house she didn't bother looking for her and went off to college, very cruel. She has never tried to escape our backyard or anything, I chalk her situation up to a very poor dog owner who heavily neglected her.

She has some anxiety but once she warms up to her environment she is a fantastic dog. She does shed a lot like any Husky, gets along with our dogs but prefers to go be by herself. Anytime we come home she runs over and sits immediately, I have never seen a dog that want to be petted so much. She follows you around everywhere wanting pets and does not like it when you leave, she really wants to be accepted and loved, it is written all over her.
