Rose is a staff favorite for her calm gentle nature and affectionate demeanor. When Rose's previous owner's dog had puppies, her siblings were taken from her yard and she was the one left behind. Her previous owner has since passed and we wish nothing more than for her to find a loving home she so truly deserves. Rose has grown up in the shelter and has never once presented any issues except taking up so much of our time because she is so hard to walk away from. She absolutely adores attention and being pet and you can truly tell how much she appreciates every bit of love and attention she receives. Rose has been ready for a loving owner for such a long time, we hope someone with a spot in their home and their hearts will open them to our sweet Rose <3

Submit Application

Whether you're interested in a specific pet or not, fill out our application online at houstonpetsalive.org.

2.
Meet the Pet

Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be set up between you and your pet of interest.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet and greet goes well and your adoption application is approved, you will sign the adoption contract.

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption contract is signed, you will pay the adoption fee.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Bring your new best friend home! Remember that it will take some time for him/her to adjust to their new environment.
