My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Riley!

Riley’s story with us started with heartbreak — she was abandoned along with her canine companion, left behind by the family she once knew. But despite it all, this brave girl never lost her gentle spirit or her love for people. Now, she’s ready to leave the past behind and find a family who will cherish her forever.

Riley is around 1 year old and is as friendly as they come. She loves affection, enjoys being near her people, and is always ready to make new friends. With her sweet personality, she’s a little beam of sunshine just waiting to warm someone’s heart.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV — all she needs now is a place to call home.

If you’re ready to bring a loving companion into your life, Riley is eager to start her next adventure with you. Come meet her and see why she’s so easy to fall in love with. 💛🐱

More about this shelter

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless, abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It depends on donations, sponsorships and other tangible support from local residents and businesses.

Our vision is a self sustaining, no-kill shelter which will house the animals until they find their forever home. Additionally, it is our goal to breed awareness, stimulate education and inspire the public to become animal advocates.

The Animal Friends of Westmoreland is a voice for those that cannot speak. Join us in speaking for those that need us most . . . the animals.
