Meet Izy
Izy came to the shelter as a stray, and it’s clear she hasn’t had an easy life. She’s underweight, has some skin issues, and shows signs of having been overbred—but none of that has dimmed her gentle, loving spirit.
Izy is quiet and calm, the kind of dog who seems to be patiently waiting for someone to be kind to her. Despite everything she’s been through, she’s happy and friendly, with a warm soul that shines through in the soft way she approaches people. She knows how to sit, takes treats oh-so-gently, and did great going potty several times outside.
She absolutely melts for pets—especially on her itchy skin—and you can almost feel how much comfort and relief simple affection brings her. Izzy hasn’t been in playgroup yet, but she doesn’t need much to be happy: a calm home, a soft place to rest, and a human who will show her the love she’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a sweet, grateful companion who will return your kindness tenfold, Izy is ready to give her heart to you.
