Meet Detective Cooper Jenkins — our sweet, goofy, loyal Australian Cattle Dog/German Shepherd mix who we rescued from No Kill LA at 4 months old. He’s the ultimate “Velcro dog,” happiest when he’s glued to your side, following you from room to room with his big loving eyes. Cooper is incredibly smart, affectionate, and full of playful energy. Give him a tennis ball or space to run and he’ll happily sprint and fetch for hours.
He currently lives with another dog (they’re two peas in a pod), though he can be reactive with unfamiliar dogs. With consistency and training, we believe this can continue to improve and we’re happy to share more of his story. Cooper will thrive with someone active—daily walks, a yard, hikes, or playtime are his jam.
