My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ollie and Winry are bonded. They must be adopted together.

Meet Winry!

Winry is a thoughtful, curious girl who is quietly blossoming more confident every day. Once on the shy side, she has been making wonderful progress, now greeting visitors, accepting pets, and even hopping into a lap for short cuddle sessions when she is feeling brave. Watching her come out of her shell has been a joy!

Winry is sweet and gentle, enjoying affection at her own pace. She may let her more outgoing kennel-mate Ollie take the spotlight at first, but with a little patience she happily claims her share of pets. She especially appreciates calm, respectful attention and does best when given time to feel safe and settled.

This girl is very food-motivated and absolutely loves treats like Whisker Lickins and Temptations, so much so that she'd be a great candidate for lick mats or food puzzles. She's also quite curious about her surroundings and has shown her adventurous side by climbing, exploring, and investigating anything new nearby.

Winry is still learning how to play with toys and may not quite understand wand toys yet, but she does enjoy soft toys sprinkled with catnip. It seems she may not have had much time to just be a cat before, and she is gradually discovering how nice it is to relax and have fun.

If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate cat who will reward your patience with trust and quiet cuddles, Winry could be the perfect companion. She is a special girl with a soft heart, ready to continue her journey in a loving home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
