This sweet boy came to us from our Newark shelter after being found as a stray with his siblings, in rough shape and unsure of the world. Olaf arrived scared and scruffy, but with lots of TLC, nutritious meals, and gentle care, he’s blossomed into a healthy, happy, and affectionate kitten.
Olaf and his sister Honeymaren are now ready to leave their frozen pasts behind. They would absolutely love to stay together so they can continue growing up with the comfort and confidence that comes from being with family.

Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
