i adopted AJ at Redlands Shelter. I wanted a small dog to keep my other dog company. I think that he was abused before. He would put his head down when I would go to pet him, he didn`t like people very much. I formed a very strong bond with him. He gradually became very friendly. He likes to play with other dogs, he likes people, he doesn`t like cats very much.
He does use potty pads when in the house. I did have a harder time potty training him. He mostly goes outside to potty. I love AJ and don`t want to rehome him. The reason I have to rehome my dog is I had to move in with my son I have to have a surgery that I will have to have help with afterwards. The recovery is quite lengthy. My son has 2 small children a 2year old and a 4 year old. AJ doesn`t do well with their fast pace activity. He has a problem with their louder voices at times, they make him hyper. It isn`t working out to good. It breaks my heart to lose AJ but I don`t know what else to do.
