Hello! My name is Dez, and I'm the happiest girl you'll ever meet! I'm a German Shepherd puppy, about 7 months old, and full of loyal love and smarts.
Quick Facts: I am good with other dogs of all sizes and I LOVE playing with other puppies. I can hang with the cats too but I'll keep my distance. I am healthy, active, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I will also be spayed and microchipped before I leave my foster family.
My Story & Personality: I had a bit of a bumpy start, but my foster family is helping me learn how to be a well-mannered pup. I'm a super smart cookie and a quick learner. I already know "sit" and "come," and my foster parents are working on leash manners (there are just so many interesting smells outside!). I am not a big jumper and just need a simple reminder on the occasion I forget.
I have a balanced energy level—I love to play but I'm also content to snuggle up for a nap with my humans. Beware, I will be your shadow and when you turn around you might just run into me! I'm eager to please and love treats, which helps a lot with my training. Oh, one more thing... you might want to put my water bowl in the middle of the garden, I'll water all of the plant while I quench my thirst.
Ideal Home: I would thrive in an active home where I get plenty of mental stimulation and physical exercise. A securely fenced yard would be great for my playtime and training. I do well with other dogs, cats and kids, and I'd love a family that is ready for a loyal, lifelong companion. Patience is key as I continue to learn and grow!
